A Day of Rest… Tomorrow

11:38 PM

So much done in the last two days. Removed most of the unused materials from the workspace. Put it all into plastic storage bins in the garage. Marked those bins with labels. (The bins are clear, but I marked them anyways to avoid confusion. And because I’m a sorting freak.) I gathered all of the loose art prints in the room and put them into a portfolio case for safe keeping. The space under and around the bench feels much more accessible.

Diane and I cleared the Christmas decorations. Neither of us wanted to see the bright lights and colors put away, but the clutter was getting a bit overwhelming. We took time to sort the bins of rough categories: lights and wall decorations, ornaments, and Funko Pop! and clothing. Also, all labelled. I’m thinking that this will be the last year we will be copious consumers of holiday decorative stuffs. One of my projects for the year is to sculpt some decorations for a holiday diorama.

We made time for some fun and both have MLK day off from our jobs. I will spend the day running a couple of minor errands and then entertaining myself. Diane may do the same. The list above may not seem like. Lot, but there was a lot of containers hauled up and down stairs. We also did quite a few general household chores. We’ve earned the day off. Maybe we will take in a film. There are a couple That look promising, like One Night in Miami on Amazon Prime.
